Covid-19 Vaccination
As a group of Gp’s in North Kirklees, we have vaccinated 15,075 patients as of the 22nd of January. We would like to thank all primary care, Curo, CCG staff and also the wonderful volunteers that have made this happen. We would also like to thank our patients that have been very understanding and happy to attend appointments with very little notice.
As a practice, Mirfield Health centre has vaccinated;
- 100% of our care home patients.
- 81% of patients over the age of 80.
- 58% of the top 4 priority list of the target population due by mid-February as per government guidance.
Unfortunately, we are only receiving 300 vaccines next week as such we plan to concentrate on the housebound patients. We shall update you once we have more information on our next delivery dates.
We can vaccinate over 10,000 patients a week working collaboratively with our 27 Gp practices over the 2 sites in Batley and Dewsbury. We will contact you with an appointment once we have the vaccine, please do not contact your Gp for surgeries.
